Sivakarthikeyan to join hands with Vignesh Shivn for SK 17

It is official. Sivakarthikeyan will be joining hands with Vignesh Shivn for an upcoming project produced by Lyca Productions. Tentatively titled SK 17, the film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The crew will begin shooting in July and the film is slated for a release next year. Lyca Productions made the announcement on social media. This would be the first collaboration between Vignesh Shivn and Sivakarthikeyan. 

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is currently awaiting the release of Rajesh’s Mr Local where he shares screen space with Nayanthara. The Seema Raja actor has an enviable lineup of projects: a sci-fi film with Indru Netru Naalai-fame Ravikumar, Irumbuthirai-fame PS Mithran's next, and director Pandiraj's follow-up venture to Kadaikutty Singam. Vignesh Shivn, on the other hand, last helmed the Suriya-Keerthy Suresh starrer Thaana Serndha Kootam
