Vineeth Sreenivasan and Mathew Thomas (Frankie from Kumbalangi Nights) have been roped in to play the main leads in Girish AD’s directorial debut, tentatively titled Thaneermathan Dinangal. The film went on floors today at Chalakudy.

Girish has directed two popular short films, Mookuthi and Vishudha Ambrossey. He was also one of the co-writers of the recent Kunchako Boban film, Allu Ramendran.

The script of Thaneermathan Dinangal has been penned by Girish and Dinoy Paulose. The film is being produced jointly by cinematographer Jomon T John (Charlie, Ennu Ninte Moideen), editor Shameer Mohammed (Angamaly Diaries, Swathandryam Ardharathriyil) and Shebin Backer. Jomon is also handling the camera.
