Team Avatara Purusha moves to Kerala

A Sharadhaa

The makers of Avatara Purusha are going all out to give the film a fresh look. The crew of the film, which brings together actor Sharan, director Suni and producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah, has been shooting in Kerala from March 16.

They feel lucky to have found a unique location named Olappamanna, situated amidst the lush greeneries of Palakkad. “The house we are shooting in is a 300-year-old one, spread across hundred acres. The place is considered to be lucky for Mollywood, and we've heard that top actors like Mohanlal and Mammotty make sure to have at least one portion shot in this spot. Since the plot of our film also explores black magic, we felt that this location is the most apt,” says Pushkar.

He further adds, “We have explored almost all the major locations in Karnataka, and we were keen on shooting at a fresh spot. The Kannada film Autograph has a scene shot outside this house. Apart from that, no other Kannada film has featured it. This is going to be a visual treat for the audience."

The Kerala schedule is planned to go on till April 5. Avatara Purusha has music by Charan Raj and cinematography by William David.
