The release of Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming directorial Lakshmi’s NTR has been postponed yet again. The biopic, which is based on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao's second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi and subsequent developments, was earlier scheduled for release this Friday (March 22). But now, it has been postponed to March 29.

Lakshmi’s NTR has been in the news ever since it was announced and last Sunday, RGV stated that he is planning to move the court against the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for allegedly trying to stop the release of the film. He had also planned to meet the press along with his advocate over the issue on Monday, but he called it off after the misunderstanding with the CBFC was sorted out. The film is now due to be certified by the censor board later this week.
