Raj B Shetty, who rose to fame with his debut directorial Ondu Motteya Kathe (2017), has since managed to generate interest about his next. It has come to light now that Raj 's upcoming film has been tentatively titled Hari Hara.

The actor-director is currently shooting for Gandhi, a dark noir directed by Rahul Menon, which he plans to complete by March 31, after which he will concentrate on his second directorial. Raj has revealed to us that he will be playing one of the leads in the two-hero subject. “I have the script ready, and I plan to start the first schedule by mid-May. Once I finalise the other lead, I will start shooting for my portions.”

Raj has reworked a sequence from Sri Devi Mahatme, a Yakshagana play that narrates an ego clash between Brahma and Vishnu, to suit the contemporary period. The story is said to take place between 2008 and 2018. “What piqued my curiosity was that even Gods had egos, and fought about being superior. It's the same case with human beings and it will be the conflict in my film,” he says.

Apart from these films, Raj also has Radhakrishna Reddy’s directorial, Maya Bazaar, and Ramana Avatara, alongside Danish Sait and Rishi, in his kitty.
