The sequel to the KGF went on floors today with the main cast and crew in attendance. One of the biggest releases and hits last year, the success of the first installment has added much expectation and buzz to the sequel. Talking about the project, producer Vijay Kiragandur says, "The second part will reveal more of the mother's story and will be grander. It will also showcase more of the gold mine.” It is being speculated that Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon might be part of KGF 2, but an official statement is awaited. 

Yash, who headlines KGF as Rocky bhai, acknowledges that the accolades have given them addition pressure to perform. “With lot of compliments coming in and a lot of support as well, we want to make KGF Chapter 2 a massive hit. We have the capacity and the film has potential. Rocky’s more charismatic in this film - in terms of look, attitude and style. It will be a very international look, " he says. The crew will begin shoot from next week in and around Bengaluru and Yash will join the sets at the end of April.
