Actor Mahesh Babu was supposed to collaborate with director Sukumar for a film, but the project was called off due to 'creative' differences between the two. Since the time the Aagadu actor put out a tweet saying the same, speculations were rife about a fallout between the duo. These gained momentum when the Rangasthalam director chose to direct Allu Arjun in his next, which Mythri Movie Makers are set to bankroll.

However, on Sunday, Sukumar has decided to thaw the ice and flew down to Chennai to meet Mahesh on the sets of Maharshi. Flanked by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the producers of his upcoming film with Allu Arjun, Sukumar has finally made peace with Mahesh and the duo have agreed to work together, provided they arrive at a common understanding on the story and other aspects.

“Contrary to reports, Sukumar didn’t apologise to Mahesh about the developments but explained about how things got out of control. Mahesh was gracious enough to understand the issue and Sukumar is now a relieved man,” informs a source.

Meanwhile, Sukumar's upcoming film with Allu Arjun will go on floors in April, while Mahesh is shooting for the last leg of Maharshi.
