Delhi-based model Ketika Sharma is making her Tollywood debut opposite Akash Puri in the upcoming film Romantic. The starlet, who shot to fame with her YouTube video Thug Life (2016), has already started shooting for her part.

"After seeing her YouTube videos, the team had called her for an audition. They are pleased with her looks, acting style and screen presence and offered her a contract with Puri Connects and a film with Akash. The second schedule of the film has commenced in Goa and Ketika has joined the sets on Monday. The film is a beautiful love story that shows Akash in a new avatar,” says a source.

Director Puri Jagannath is producing and providing the screenplay, story and dialogues for this romantic entertainer which marks the debut of his associate, Anil Paduri, as director.
