CE Features

We had earlier reported that Susienthiran’s upcoming film Kennedy Club will feature Sasikumar as a kabbadi coach. The latest update is that the film’s climax, featuring a kabbadi match, will be shot in a set costing Rs 2 crore. To lend an authentic air to the same, actual players from across the country will compete in the match, which is scheduled to be held in Villupuram. The common public have also been invited to watch the match. The sequence will be canned over a ten-day schedule, after which only the songs will be left to shoot.

Apart from Sasikumar, Kennedy Club also stars Samuthirakani, Bharathiraja, Soori, Munishkanth, and real-life Kabbadi players. With music by D Imman, the film is slated to hit the screens on April 14. Notably, the Mandarin dubbing rights of the film have been acquired even before the completion of the shooting.
