Robo Shankar, who was last seen in Viswasam, will be singing for the first time in Bose Venkat's debut directorial, titled Kanni Maadam.

Talking about the track, the Maari 2 actor says, "The kuthu song, written by lyricist Viveka, will be a proper tribute to auto drivers in the city in the lines of Naan Autokaaran from Baashha. The music director Hari Sai, who has previously composed for films in Kannada, thought that an unconventional voice like mine will do justice to the track, and I was more than happy to oblige."

Kanni Maadam, a romantic film about a group of friends who migrate to the city from a village, has newcomers Sreeram Karthik and Gayathri headlining the cast. The film, featuring Aadukalam Murugadoss and Gajaraj in supporting roles, went on floors recently.
