Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Nivetha Thomas-starrer 118, which opened to cinemas on March 1, has grossed Rs 7 crore within four days of its release. The makers of the action thriller have claimed that 118 has recovered production and publicity costs, and entered the profit zone within the first week.

Directed by KV Guhan, the film, which has received mixed reviews, had a slow start on its first day. But, the collections saw a major jump on the weekend and the film continued to do well on yesterday.

"With the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights, the film recovered its making cost on Monday. Considering examination season, it has been a fantastic weekend,” says a member from the production team.

Produced by Mahesh S Koneru, 118 also features Shalini Pandey, Shravan and Prabhas Srinu in supporting roles.
