Director Ram Gopal Varma has zeroed in on the release date for his upcoming film Lakshmi’s NTR. The film inspired by the incidents that happened after Lakshmi Parvathi's entry into NTR's life, will be released on March 22.

Produced by Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri, Lakshmi’s NTR features West Godavari-based theatre artiste P Vijay Kumar and Kannada actor Yagna Shetty in the lead roles. Kalyani Malik has composed the music for the film, which has cinematography by Rammy. 

The film’s teaser and the posters have been caught in a storm of controversy in the Telugu states, but Ram Gopal Varma remains unfazed by the criticism surrounding his film.
