Sivakarthikeyan is shooting back to back for PS Mithran's Hero and Pandiraj's untitled rural film, post the unfavourable box office result of Mr Local, and according to reliable sources, both his upcoming projects will hit the screens before the end of this year. 

Reports state that Hero will be a Christmas release and the Pandiraj-film will be out during the pooja holidays. Sivakarthikeyan will also soon begin shooting for Vignesh Shivan's fourth directorial, bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

Kalyani Priyadarshan and Anu Emmanuel have been cast opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Hero and the Pandiraj-directorial, respectively.

It may be noted that the title of the Pandiraj film, produced by Sun Pictures, has been speculated to be Enga Veetu Pillai. The multi-starrer has actors like Aishwarya Rajesh, Nataraj, Bharathiraja, Yogi Babu, Soori, Samuthirakani, and RK Suresh, in important roles.
