Trisha, who was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj's Petta, starring Rajinikanth, has been shooting in Uzbekistan for a film titled Raangi.  We had earlier reported that the 96-actor will be playing a bold, self-willed character, in sync with the film's title.

While the first look poster of Raangi released last month featured Trisha's character being arrested by cops, we now hear that the actor plays the CEO of a multimedia firm named Third Eye media in the film.

Raangi, helmed by director Saravanan of Engaeyum Eppothum fame and scripted by Saravanan's mentor, AR Murugadoss, is currently in its final leg of shoot. Saravanan's regular composer C Sathya is in charge of the film's music.

Trisha, meanwhile, has Garjanai, a film inspired by Anushka Sharma's NH10, in the pipeline. Aside from this, she has projects like Sathuranga Vettai 2, Paramapadham Vilayattu, Badla Tamil remake, and a yet-to-be-titled project alongside Simran in various stages of productions.
