Rajasekhar's Kalki gets U/A

The investigative thriller will be set in Telangana in 1983

Dr Rajasekhar's investigative thriller Kalki has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with no visual cuts. 

Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film is all set for a worldwide release on June 28. The film features Rajasekhar as a cop and the recently released trailer has received an overwhelming response from the audience. Also starring Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha and Poojitha Ponnada as the female leads, the film has a special number, Horn Ok Please, starring Baahubali-fame Scarlett Wilson. 

Shravan Bharadwaj has scored the music for the film produced by C Kalyan. The film's theatrical rights were acquired by veteran producer Radha Mohan for Rs 10 crore. Rajasekhar, who was last seen in PSV Garudavega, has gone through a complete makeover for his character in Kalki and the film will be set in Telangana in 1983.
