The second look of Bigil, Vijay's upcoming film with Atlee, has been released. The poster shows Vijay in four avatars. In clockwise direcrtion, these are the youthful football player, the slightly mature football player with the name Michael on his shirt, the rugged gangster, and the smart professional football manager. The poster also seems to suggest that Vijay will be seen in a dual role as a father and his son.

The first look, which was released earlier, on the eve of Vijay's birthday, features the actor in two different looks — a footballer and an older Vijay wearing a veshti — and in the background is a fish market. The title is embossed on an aerial view of a football court.

Bigil is touted to be a sports drama, co-starring Nayanthara as the female lead, and also featuring Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha, and Reba Monica John as footballers, whose team will be coached by Vijay's character. Apart from them, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivekh, and Yogi Babu are also part of the film, playing supporting characters.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, Bigil is slated for a Diwali release. With the film in its final leg of the shoot, we hear that the team will be moving to Delhi soon to shoot some important portions. Earlier this month, AR Rahman, the composer of Bigil, had taken to Twitter to announce that the first edits of two songs from the film were ready.
