Vidyut Jammwal has wrapped up Commando 3 with a brief shoot in Mumbai. The third instalment in the action-thriller franchise is directed by Aditya Datt and revolves around a national issue.

“It is about getting the nation together, forgetting the differences that arise from caste, creed and religion. It is an engrossing story and Aditya has visualised great action for it, giving it a different spin,” Vidyut says.

Slated for release on September 6, Commando 3 also stars Adah Sharma, Gulshan Devaiah, Angira Dhar and  Rajesh Tailang. The film was primarily shot in London. "It was a 60-day schedule and the first time that a Commando film was shot in Europe.  The infrastructure in London is the best for action because the streets are apt for chase scenes while it’s easy to jump from one ancient building to another,” Vidyut adds.

Commando 3 is presented by Reliance Entertainment in association with Sun Shine Pictures and Vipul Amrutlal Shah Production. Vidyut Jammwal’s last onscreen appearance was in Junglee earlier this year.
