Saravanan. the owner of Saravana Stores, who modeled for his own supermarket chain with Tamannaah and Hansika as his costars, has been in the news for some time now for planning his big screen debut as the lead.

Now, it's now learnt that the film, starring Saravanan as the hero, will be directed by the director duo JD and Jerry, known for their TV ads. The duo, who debuted with the 1999 Ajith-starrer, Ullasam, last helmed the 2003 crime thriller, Whistle, starring Sherin and Gayathri Raghuram. 

Reports suggest that the project, which is also produced by Saravanan, is currently in pre-production and will go on floors in August. Saravanan had claimed in an earlier press interaction that Nayanthara will be approached to play the female lead in his debut film. We have to wait for the official announcement to confirm the same.
