Speculations about Suri helming a project for Sudeep has been doing the rounds for a while. Now it has now been confirmed by the film's producer However, the project will not go on the floor immediately. 

“Both Suri and Sudeep are busy with their current commitments, and we are planning to take it forward once they sit together for a story narration, and lock the script,” says Srikanth, who is currently busy with Salaga, his second venture as a producer. If everything goes well, Sudeep’s film with Suri will be his third production. 

The Tagaru director is currently busy with the Dhananjay-starrer Suri Popcorn Monkey Tiger.  Meanwhile, Sudeep, who is awaiting the release of S Krishna's Pailwaan, which will hit the screens on Varamahalakshmi, is currently juggling between the shootings of Kotigobba 3 and his Bollywood film, Dabangg 3. He also has Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in Telugu and a Kannada project with director Anup Bhandari in the pipeline.
