Sekhar Kammula, who recently wrapped up a dance film featuring newcomers, has initiated discussions with actors Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for a new film.

“When Sekhar narrated the story, Chaitanya got excited as he felt it the plot line was unique. He has expressed his willingness to work on the project. Sekhar will meet Pallavi soon for narration. However, it's too early to jump to a conclusion on this combination,” informs a source.

Sekhar’s last outing, Fidaa turned out to a blockbuster and helped Sai Pallavi gain a foothold in Telugu cinema.

Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for Venky Mama, co-starring Venkatesh. He also has a film with Dil Raju in the pipeline, but the project might take time to go on floors if the Majili actor chooses to shoot for Sekhar’s film first.
