The trailer of Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit, Pink, starring Ajith and Shraddha Srinath was released today evening at 6pm. Producer Boney Kapoor took to twitter to announce the news

Shraddha Srinath, who plays the main protagonist, a role essayed by Taapsee in the original, also shared the poster and said she couldn't contain her excitement.

Directed by H Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvai stars Ajith Kumar in the role of a lawyer. The part was originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Vidya Balan portrays the role of Ajith’s wife marking her Tamil debut with this film. The film also stars Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, Rangaraj Pandey and Sujith Shankar. 

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Nerkonda Paarvai slated for release on August 10 not just in India but also in China, making it the first release of Ajith's in the country.
