Gautham Iyer’s Vrithra gets a ‘U’ certificate

Starring newcomer Nithyashri in the lead role, the makers are looking to release the film in the second week of July

For debutant director, Gautham Iyer, getting a film certificate from the censor board was like going and collecting a degree from college. His first film, Vrithra, has been certified U without any cuts or mutes. The director shares that he will remember and cherish the day. 

Vrithra stars newcomer Nithyashri, who plays an investigative officer. The cast also includes Sudharani, Prakash Belawadi and Ravi Sitaraman. The makers are looking to release the film in the second week of July.

While the music has been scored by DA Vasanth, the cinematography is by Auditya Venkatesh. The trailer of Vrithra is expected to be released next week.
