Choreographer Raju Sundaram is set to make his directorial debut in Telugu with a romcom. To be produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments, the untitled film features Sharwanand in the lead role.

"Sharwanand is pleased with the storyline pitched by Raju and has verbally given his agreement to the choreographer-turned-director. It's a quirky love story loaded with entertainment and action. The film will go on floors later this year once Sharwa wraps up his Telugu-Tamil bilingual produced by SR Prabhu," informs a source.

Raju Sundaram apparently wants to be careful with his casting and is keen to rope in some popular names in Telugu and Tamil. Meanwhile, Sharwanand is awaiting the release of Ranarangam, and is currently shooting for the Telugu remake of Tamil romcom 96, tentatively titled Alias Jaan.
