The release of Amitabh Bachchan-Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film, Gulabo Sitabo, has been pushed to next year. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the quirky family comedy will now arrive on April 24, 2020. The film was earlier announced to release this November.

Set in Lucknow, Gulabo Sitabo is written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The film is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under their banner Rising Suns Films. This is the first time Amitabh and Ayushmann are collaborating on screen.

Gulabo Sitabo is expected to go on floors this month. Shoojit Sircar is also working on a biopic on Indian revolutionary Udham Singh. The film stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.
