Santhanam, who was last seen as the lead in Dhillukku Dhuddu 2, has been shooting for a comedy, titled Dagaalty, co-starring Yogi Babu and directed by Vijay Anand, an erstwhile assistant of director Shankar. The first look poster of the film, featuring Santhanam lighting a cigarette, has now been released. 

Dagaalty, featuring Rittika Sen as the female lead, is currently in post-production. While the film's cinematography is handled by Deepak Kumar Padhy, TS Suresh and Shobi are in charge of editing and choreography, respectively. Singer Vijaynarain is making his debut as a music director with Dagaalty. 

Meanwhile, Santhanam is awaiting the release of  Server Sundaram, directed by Anand Balki. He has also signed a couple of new projects, including a Kannan-directorial and another by debutante Johnson, titled A 1 (a) Accused No 1, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan.  

Yogi Babu, on the other hand, will be seen in Rajinikanth’s Darbar, Sam Anton’s Gurkha,S  Muthukumaran’s Dharmaprabhu,  and Atlee’s Thalapathy 63, amongst others.
