Samantha's Oh Baby to be remade in Hindi

Samantha Akkineni's upcoming fantasy comedy Oh Baby will now be remade in Hindi. Producer of the film, Daggubati Suresh Babu has initiated talks with a renowned Bollywood production house and if everything goes as planned, he is likely to bankroll the Hindi remake as well. It is learnt that a leading Bollywood damsel will reprise Samantha's role, while a veteran female actor will step into the shoes of Lakshmi for the remake.

"The film will be remade in Hindi with a familiar actor and is likely to be jointly produced by Suresh Babu and a Bollywood production house. The cast and technical team will be finalised by the month end and the film will go on sets soon," informs a source.

Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, Oh Baby is a remake of South Korean film Miss Granny and also stars Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh and Adivi Sesh in pivotal roles.

The film is slated for release on July 5.
