Rajiv Menon, who last directed the GV Prakash-starrer Sarvam Thaala Mayam, has apparently started work on his next. We hear that the film, whose pre-production is completed, will star Mirchi Shiva in the lead.

The film's cast and crew have reportedly flown to Japan to kickstart the shoot, and the filming is said to begin on June 3. A source close to the unit also tells us that this project is bankrolled by popular actor-producer VTV Ganesh.

An official announcement regarding the film's title and the cast and crew is expected soon.

Shiva, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Venkat Prabhu's next, Party.
