The trailer of Martin Scorsese's new Netflix-drama The Irishman has been released, giving us the first peek into the film's production.

The film, adapted by Charles Brandt's 2003 book I Heard You Paint Houses, features Robert De Niro essaying the role of Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran. The film tells the story of mafia hitman Frank Sheera (De Niro), who was rumored to be involved with the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino), an American labor leader.

The cast also includes Pesci, best known for his portrayal of Harry from Home Alone. The supporting cast for Harvey Keitel, Bobby Canavale, Anna Pacquin, Ray Romano and Jesse Plemons.

The film will open on the 57th New York Film Festival on September 27.

Despite the star-studded cast, the biggest catch of the film has been its use of technology to de-age its actors. The film is expected to get an October release.
