Russo brothers believe Keanu Reeves would make a good Moon Knight

CE Features

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have recently said that Keanu Reeves would make a good Moon Knight — a Marvel superhero who is yet to make his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In a recent interaction, the Russo brothers termed casting Reeves as the silver shrouded superhero a "good call." Though there is no film confirmed for Moon Knight, producer Kevin Feige has confirmed that they have plans for the character, with director James Gunn even pitching a story.

Interestingly, the franchise is in a transitional phase post the wrap of The Infinity Saga, which means new characters will be introduced in Phase Four. Films announced recently —  Eternals and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings — are already set to feature character who are new to the franchise.

Marvel Studios has wanted to rope in Keanue for a long time now. The John Wick star was in fact supposed to play Yon Rogg in Captain Marvel (later played by Jude Law), but had to back out due to a scheduling conflict.
