The audio of Kenedy Club was launched today. Lead actors Sasikumar and Bharathiraja were in attendance along with director Suseenthiran, music director Imman, and members of the cast and crew, including editor Antony.  

"Working in Kennedy Club felt like living with a new family," said veteran director Bharathiraja, "Though I've acted in Suseenthiran's Pandiyanaadu this film was an entirely new experience. I'm glad I choose acting at this age. If at all there's another birth, I don't want to live rich like Ambani, instead, I want to be born as a filmmaker again. Cinema makes me fly, it gives me wings." 

Sasikumar revealed that there are plans to make a sequel to the film. "You can expect a sequel to Kennedy Club very soon. We've even shot a few scenes for it. I would like to call this film a biopic, as the characters played by me and Bharathiraja sir are completely inspired by the life of coach Selvam and Nallu Saamy ayya (the father of Suseenthiran and founder of Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu) respectively."

He went on to quip about the love and action scenes in his films, "I request the audience to support films like this to prevent me from wielding sickle and dancing to duets in every film. If they start celebrating content-driven films there won't be a necessity for me to do such things." 

The film starring a host of real-life Kabaddi players is slated to hit the screens on August 15.
