Rajinikanth's Darbar announcement by AR Murugadoss today at 6 PM

The shooting of AR Murugadoss-Rajinikanth's upcoming cop film Darbar is progressing at a brisk pace and the filmmaker has revealed that an important update about the film will be announced at 6 PM today. 

Murugadoss took to Twitter to break the news. He wrote, 
 


The director left no clue about the details of the announcement and it is unclear as of now, whether it is about the release date, single release or addition of a new cast member. 

Darbar starring Nayanthara as the female lead has actors like Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Harish Uttaman, and Bose Venkat in important roles. Since Rajini plays a Mumbai police in the film, it features Bollywood actors  Nawab Shah, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar as the antagonists. 

Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for Darbar, following the huge success of Petta. The film has cinematography by Santhosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
