The third season of the Tamil television reality show, Bigg Boss, kick-started in the last week of June, and is being hosted by Kamal Haasan for the third consecutive time.

Vanitha Vijayakumar, who was one of the controversial contestants of the show, was earlier called for a formal inquiry with the police, during her stay in the house. She was accused of kidnapping her daughter by her ex-husband, Anand Rajan, who has had her custody since the couple's divorce in 2012.

It is now the turn of Meera Mithun to face an inquiry, as the Egmore police have arrived at the Bigg Boss house in the EVP film city to question the model on a fraud suit.

Meera, who has been accused of cheating a designer of fifty thousand rupees, has been charged with a case of money laundering. The designer reportedly filed a complaint after Meera illegally took advantage of the Miss South India logo, which apparently "irked the organizers of the pageant."

An update is expected after the inquiry.

Following the eviction of Fathima Babu, Vanitha Vijayakumar, and Mohan Vaidya in the last three weeks, thirteen contestants remain in the house, as they battle it out for the title. Rythvika won the title last season, while Arav was the winner in the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
