Amruta Khanwilkar joins hands with Akshay Bardapurkar to start her own digital platform

The platform will provide a talent pool for both Bollywood and the Marathi industry

Amruta Khanwilkar, known for films like Raazi, Satyamev Jayate and Autograph, has tied up with a leading Marathi digital platform to start a new talent pool from which both Bollywood and the Marathi industry can choose from. “It all began with Amruta and producer Akshay Bardapurkar, the moving spirit behind Planet Marathi, coming together for a few events and they have now decided to take the Marathi movie industry's actors and technical talents to a global level,” a source said. 

Amruta says, “Talent cannot be hidden forever. But it needs to come out one day. You will hear from me soon,” she says. 

Akshay who is also bankrolling the Amitabh Bachchan- Vikram Gokhale starrer AB Aani CD says, “It was Amruta’s idea. I am into digital, plus I am producing films and have been in the entertainment industry for more than a decade and a half and have built many bridges in the said time. It’s time to crossover now.
