Arya to have back-to-back releases with Kaappaan and Magamuni

CE Features

Arya, who was last seen on screen in last year's Ghajinikanth, which had him sharing screen space with his wife Sayyeshaa, has since been busy shooting for several projects, which are now getting ready for release in quick succession.

While Kaappaan, which has Suriya in lead and Arya playing an important role as Mohanlal's son, is all set to hit the theatres on August 30, Arya's next release after that will come less than a month after Kaappaan. The actor's film with director Santhakumar, Magamuni, has now been scheduled for release in September.

Santhakumar, who earlier helmed the Arulnithi-starrer Mouna Guru, is back in action after eight years with Magamuni, which is expected to feature Arya in dual roles. The action entertainer has Indhuja and Mahima Nambiar playing the female leads.

The theatrical rights of Magamuni have been sold to Tarun Pictures.
