We had previously reported that Simran and Trisha, who were recently seen in Rajinikanth's Petta, are teaming up for a film helmed by Sadhuram 2-director Sumanth Radhakrishnan. While speculations online said the film has been titled Sugar, a source close to the production unit has now confirmed that the makers have not zeroed on a title yet. "The team is yet to finalise the title and Sugar is just one of the many titles that are in contention. Since the production house was until recently busy with the release of Gorilla, they have not had the time to finalise the title of this project yet. An official announcement can be expected by mid-August," adds the source.

The film will apparently be an adventure thriller which will have Simran and Trisha playing sisters. A surprise element is said to be planned by the makers, which will also be announced soon after the title reveal. The film is touted to feature India's first deep-sea stunt sequences, and both the actors are currently undergoing training for these scenes. The makers are currently halfway through the shooting process.

After Petta and Jodi (which was Trisha's first on-screen appearance), this untitled film will be the third time Simran and Trisha share screen space.

Simran's upcoming films include Dhruva Natchathiram, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and Vanangamudi, whereas Trisha has Sathuranga Vettai 2, Garjanai, Paramapadham Vilayattu and Raangi in the pipeline.
