Shilpa Shetty is expected to make a comeback after a gap of 12 years. According to reports, the actor has signed an upcoming film with Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam. The as-yet-untitled film will produced by Ramesh Taurani, who is said to have offered a large signing amount to the actor for the project. 

Shilpa made her acting debut in Baazigar (1993). She has also worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and was a guest on the British reality series, Celebrity Big Brother 5. Her last film role was in Apne (2007). Directed by Anil Sharma, the boxing drama starred Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. In 2008, Shilpa appeared in a song sequence in Tarun Mansukhani’s Dostana. She also made a cameo appearance as herself in the 2014 film Dishkiyaoon. The action drama was produced by Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra. 

Diljit Dosanjh has worked in the Hindi films Udta Punjab, Welcome To New York and Soorma. His upcoming releases are Arjun Patiala and Good News. Yami Gautam was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike. She will be seen in Amar Kaushik’s Bala, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Diljit Dosanjh.
