Lyricist Pa Vijay has written two songs for Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Tweeting a picture with Yuvan, the lyricist-turned-actor wrote, “An energetic creative meeting with young maestro Yuvan happened. Thanks director H Vinoth.”   

Talking about the songs, Vijay says, “One is a duet and the other song will be for the fans. The picture was taken two-three days ago after we were done with the second song.” Notably, two singles from the album, Vaan Irul and Kaalam have been unveiled now.

Apart from Ajith, Nerkonda Paarvai has Vidya Balan, who is making her Tamil debut with this film. A remake of the Bollywood hit Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai also stars Shraddha Srinath, Bigg Boss-fame Abhirami Venkatachalam, Adhik Ravichandran amongst others. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H Vinoth, the film will hit the screens on August 8.
