Within a week after it was announced that Vijay has sung in the composition of AR Rahman for the first time in Bigil with the song Verithanam,  a single has been leaked from the film's album.

Singa Penne, the leaked track, has reportedly been sung by the music director Rahman himself and it is alleged that the viral sound clip was recorded at the shooting spot of the film. Though the makers of the film, AGS Entertainment took down most of the pirated links, the song started to spread like a wildfire yesterday, resulting in mixed reactions from the audience. While a major section of the fans started to trend the hashtag #DontWorryTeamBigil, the rest were happy to get a glimpse of the song before it's official release. 

As of now, there is no announcement from the production side, regarding the official launch of the single. The sports drama also stars actors like Nayantara, Vivek, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Indhuja Ravichandran, and Reba Monica John.
