Dabangg 3 is 60 per cent complete, will wrap up September: Arbaaz Khan

Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is scheduled for release on December 20

Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is 60 per cent complete and will be released on time on December 20. Arbaaz Khan, who reprises his role as Makkhanchand 'Makkhi' Pandey in the sequel, told the press: "We are in the middle of a long schedule. We have completed almost 60 per cent of the film and, hopefully by the end of September, we will wrap up the entire shoot. We are looking forward to releasing the film towards end of December."

Arbaaz was speaking with the media on the sets of Sridevi Bungalow, which marks the Bollywood debut of Priya Prakash Varrier.

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhudheva. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Mahie Gill and Dimple Kapadia. Kannada actor Sundeep plays the antagonist against Salman.

The first schedule of Dabangg 3 was wrapped up in Madhya Pradesh. Shooting continued in Phaltan and Pune in Maharashtra.

Arbaaz Khan had earlier directed Dabangg 2. The actor’s last appearance was in Loveyatri (2018).
