Sonakshi Sinha has responded to reports of being approached by the Moradabad police on Thursday. Last year, an event manager from UP had accused Sonakshi of taking Rs. 24 lakh from him for a performance in Delhi but not attending the event. An FIR was registered against the actor in Moradabad in UP.

According to reports, the Moradabad Police approached the Juhu police station regarding the complaint, and a team was sent on Thursday to Sonakshi’s residence. However, since the actor wasn’t at home, the police could not record her statement.

Addressing the investigation, Sonakshi deemed the case an extortion attempt and assured full cooperation with authorities from her end. She stated, “An event organizer who couldn’t live up to his commitment obviously thinks he can make a fast buck by maligning my crystal clear image in the press. There is full cooperation with the authorities from my end for the investigation to be conducted. I would request the media not to fan these bizarre claims of an unscrupulous man.”

Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Kalank. Her upcoming releases are Khandaani Shafakhana and Mission Mangal. The actor is also shooting for Dabangg 3 and Bhuj – The Pride of India.
