Tanya Hope, who is currently working in the Kannada film, Khakhi, has been signed to play one of the female leads in Ravi Teja's Disco Raja, directed by Vi Anand. "I feel happy to be back in Telugu cinema in a film starring Ravi Teja," says Tanya. Although she remains tight-lipped about her character in the film, it is learnt that she will be seen as a scientist in the sci-fi thriller. 

The actor, who earlier worked in films like Nenu Sailaja, Appatlo Okadundevadu, Patel Sir, and Paper Boy, will start shooting for Disco Raja tomorrow in Hyderabad. 

Produced by Ram Talluri, Disco Raja has music by SS Thaman. The film, which features Ravi Teja in a dual role as father and son, stars Payal Rajput and Nabha Natesh as the other female leads.

Tanya was supposed to team up with Sundeep Kishan for the Telugu remake of the Tamil sci-fi film Indru Netru Naalai. However, the project has been put on the hold due to undisclosed reasons.
