Gerard Butler-Morgan Freeman-starrer Angel Has Fallen will hit Indian screens on August 23

After Olympus has Fallen and London Has Fallen, this is the third film from the franchise

Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman's Angel Has Fallen will be released in India on August 23. PVR Pictures and MVP Entertainment are releasing the film in India. 

Butler will be back as Secret Service agent Mike Banning in Angel Has Fallen  the third film in the Fallen franchise which includes Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen

Directed by Ric Roman, the film also stars Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Nick Nolte and Michael Landes, among others. In the film, Banning is on the run from the FBI after being falsely accused of attempting to kill the US president.

The Fallen franchise has been a highly successful venture: Olympus Has Fallen grossed more than 170 million dollars globally with a 70 million dollar budget, while the sequel, London Has Fallen had a reported budget of 60 million dollars and grossed over 205 million dollars.
