Yogi Babu strikes big deal with major production house

The actor-comedian, who was seen as the lead in last week's release, Dharmaprabhu, is apparently on a signing spree

Yogi Babu, who was seen as the lead in last week's release, Dharmaprabhu, is apparently on a signing spree. According to reports, the actor-comedian has recently struck a two-film deal with Lyca Productions.

A source in the know says that the production, who has been happy with the comedian's works in their next couple of ventures -  Rajnikanth-starrer Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, and Pannikutty, directed by Anucharan - wanted Yogi Babu to handle the comic portions in their next two films. More details on these two projects are expected to be out soon.

Yogi Babu, who's playing the lead in films like Gurkha and Zombie, will also be seen in biggies like Thalapathy 63, Vijay's upcoming sports film with Atlee and SK 15, Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film with director Mithran. He also has a film with Vijay TV fame Ramar in the pipeline.
