Sudeep-starrer Pailwaan is targeting 2,500 screens worldwide as it gears up for an August release. The makers, looking for a pan-India release, are in talks with some of the biggest distributors across India and in that vein, the Telugu version has been bagged by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram. A well-known production house which distributed KGF, will now be taking up release duties for Pailwaan in Tollywood. Meanwhile, director Krishna, who is bankrolling the film under RRR Motion Pictures, is on the verge of closing the deal with his Karnataka distributors and our sources say the production house will be signing the agreement this week and an official announcement will be made soon about that alongside the release of the Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam dubbed versions.

Meanwhile, Sudeep has tweeted that “A bit of every song composed by Arjun Janya will be released, starting next week. Look out for the official release date soon."

The film, which features Sudeep as a boxer and a wrestler, also has Akanksha Singh as the female lead. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty makes his Kannada debut with the film whose star cast also includes Sushant Singh, Kabir Duhan Singh and Sharath Lohitashva.
