It is official. Composer duo Vivek-Mervin will be making music for Vijay Sethupathi’s next film with director Vijay Chander. Making the announcement on Twitter, Vijay Chander also wished Mervin on the occasion of his birthday. Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj will be playing the female leads in this project, while Soori has been roped in for a key role. Produced by Vijaya Productions, the untitled film is slated to go on floors this March.

Apart from this project, Vivek and Mervin also have a film that will be helmed by RS Durai Senthilkumar, starring Dhanush. The Gulaebaghavali composers had last scored the hit single Orasaadha for 7Up Madras Gig. This will be Vivek-Mervin’s first project for Vijay Sethupathi.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is working on a bunch of projects that are in various stages of production, including Super Deluxe, Sindhubaadh, and Maamanithan.
