After Pink remake, Ajith's 60th film to be a commercial entertainer

The film will go on floors in July and will have a grand worldwide release in May 2020

After the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit Pink, Ajith Kumar is all set to act in a full-fledged commercial entertainer. Boney Kapoor, who is producing both films, has revealed this in a recent media interaction. Tentatively named AK 60, the film will go on floors in July 2019 and will have a grand worldwide release in May 2020.  

Meanwhile, the Pink remake, tentatively called AK 59, is currently in production. Apart from Ajith, the film will star Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Director Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, and Sujith Shankar.

Incidentally, AK 59 will be Vidya Balan’s debut in Tamil. Directed by H Vinoth, the film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. This is Boney Kapoor’s first production venture in Tamil.
