Monkey Donkey is humour-laced travel subject featuring child artistes

Joining the list of bizarre Tamil film titles now is a movie called Monkey Donkey. Yes, no joke. Directed by Abhianand (erstwhile assistant of Jeethu Joseph) and Saleesh Subramaniam, the film is said to be a humour-laced travel subject, featuring child artistes. Apparently, the lead characters keep abusing each other by using the words ‘monkey’ and ‘donkey’, and hence the title Monkey Donkey for this film, targeted primarily at children.

While child artistes Yuvina, Kishore Kumar and Sriram Karthik play the leads, Vandhana, Kali Venkat and Bose Venkat play supporting roles in the film. Shot primarily in Theni, Vagamon, and Kochi in 8K resolution, Monkey Donkey has Sooraj S Kurup composing the music. The film is expected to release in the last week of April.
