Director Puri Jagannath has recently announced his next film, Ismart Shankar, which will mark his first collaboration with actor Ram. Set in Hyderabad, the film's principal shooting will commence in the last week of January.

According to a source, Anu Emmanuel, last seen in Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, is in talks for the film. "It is a two-heroine project and Anu Emmanuel has been approached for one of the lead roles. Talks are underway and both parties are yet to seal the deal. Puri is hopeful about getting Anu on board," reveals a source.

Produced jointly by Puri and Charmmee Kaur, the film will be launched tomorrow, followed by the first schedule. The makers are planning to wrap up the film in five months and release it during May. Music of the film is by Mani Sharma.
