The hit composer-director duo Mani Sharma and Puri Jagannath are back after a gap of three years. The music composer, who churned out chart-buster albums like Pokiri, Ek Niranjan and Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, will be composing music for Puri's upcoming film, Ismart Shankar, starring Ram in the lead.

It can be noted that the film marks the first association of  Mani Sharma and Ram. The principal shooting will commence post-Sankranti and it is touted that Ram plays the role of a Hyderabad youngster in this 'action entertainer'. A source close to the makers, says, "Ram has mastered the local Hyderabadi dialect for the character and the actor is excited to start shooting for the film."

Jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannath and Charmmee Kaur, Ismart Shankar has cinematography by Arjun Reddy fame Raj Thota. The female lead and other cast are yet to be finalised by the makers.
