Kiara Advani, who is riding high in the Telugu industry lately, also has her ball rolling in Bollywood. She reprises the role of Shalini Pandey in Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Arjun Reddy. Kiara, who is currently shooting for the film, is apparently a big fan of Vijay Devarakonda, who shot to fame with his career-defining performance as the titular character in the original.

"I am a huge fan of Vijay Devarakonda," she said in one of her recent promotional interviews for Vinaya Vidheya Rama, adding, "I loved Vijay in the film. He is an outstanding actor. Even Shalini was quite good in the movie. Both of them lived their roles."

Speaking about the upcoming Bollywood remake, she shared, "I play a Punjabi girl in the film and I did a lot of groundwork for it." She also mentioned that some changes have been made in Kabir Singh from the original to fit the Hindi audience.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also directed the Telugu version, Kabir Singh is set in New Delhi and is expected to be released in June.
